I'm selling the vehicle, but I just HAD to keep the driver, too cool.
And anyway, I don't think that's the case, I was talking to Nick V (Brickthing, search him on flickr), he's in New Zealand. Over there, sets are 50% more expensive, but here's what he told me: in New Zealand, there's lots of people SELLING lego, but not lots of people BUYING lego. That's why he has so many parts; albeit has an income, but he's been able to buy a bunch of entire collections of bionicle, since people don't tend to pick up on that stuff in NZ.
So don't give up. I'm a bit arrogant, and I bet I make it sound like I get a crapton of good deals and stuff, but in reality it's probably less than you'd think. I do get a crapton though
